The Role

We are seeking a motivated individual who will lead on our web development efforts.

Own development and design of our web client interface. This web interface mirrors the user experience of our browser client application.

Take the lead in user experience design for the web interface and be an active participant in the overall user experience design of the whole product

Actively contribute to the design of underlying system APIs that are consumed by both the web interface and the browser client

Own maintenance and updating of the corporate website, blog and user forums

The Skills & Experience

.Net, ASP, Microsoft SQL and Adobe Flash are the core technologies used on the web client. Youll need to be able to demonstrate ninja skills in these.

Our APIs are rich and will spew JSON & XML all day long. Youll need to be able to eat those with your eyes closed.

Understanding of and familiarity with the core components of the Web 2.0 world is important. Show us your AJAX.

Experience of configuring Windows Server/IIS/MSFT SQL Server in a web environment.

Strong problem solving skills were great at creating tough problems

Youve likely been cutting code for a good few years and have got the t-shirt from at least one other startup. We like our code fast and tight, not straight out of CS School.

This role does require good visual design skills (eg Flash), but very strong web infrastructure experience is equally important (SQL, ASP.Net). You need to know what an N-Tier application design is and where the presentation layer lives!
