Project Manager
Sprout is redefining multimedia development by bringing sophisticated content creation to the masses. Sprout Builder is a web-based authoring platform that allows anyone to quickly and easily build “Living Content” - widgets, mashups, mini-sites, and other forms of interactive and distributable web content.

We launched in private Beta at the DEMO conference on January 29th to rave reviews (and a DEMOGod award)from Techcrunch, ReadWriteWeb, Mashable, and others.
We’re working on adding tons of new features to Sprout, and are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic Project Manager to help keep things organized and running smoothly.
The Project Manager will work closer with Sprout’s Chief Product Officer to:
- Help define feature release roadmap.
- Coordinate developers and designers.
- Manage day-to-day project details and ensure all project components are completed on time.
- Work with product, marketing, and business development teams to keep everyone in the loop.
- Generate reports to track progress of multiple teams.
Must Haves:
- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
- Be able to explain tech talk to non-techies, as well as to talk tech with the development team.
- Be extremely detail oriented
- Love Gantt Charts
- Posess exceptional organizational and planning skills
- Have strong understanding of web application design and development processes
Nice to Have:
- Experience working with agile teams (SCRUM experience)
- Experience using JIRA to manage project tasks
This is a full-time position (contract, permanent, or contract to permanent depending on the candidate). Candidates must be located in San Francisco (or open to relocation).
