Fun Internship for Online Music Startup Jango.com

Online Music Company Seeks Interns! (Tribeca)

Jango.com, one of the Internet’s fastest growing social music sites, is currently recruiting interns for the marketing and artist relations departments. This internship is an excellent learning experience for high school and college students interested in online music, media, communications, marketing and/or technology.

You will be working in an open, creative environment with an experienced team of internet, marketing and entertainment professionals to help run and market a leading entertainment website.

We are looking for outgoing people with:

- Extensive experience using social networks/sites like MySpace, Facebook, Last.FM, etc.

- A true love for music and experience in discovering, getting and sharing music online

- The more web and computer savvy you are the better.

- Excellent communication skills

We need interns who can dedicate 10-20 hours per week to working with us beginning immediately, but are flexible about schedules. You will have the option of working in our Tribeca office or from your home (though we want to get to hang out with you sometimes…)

This internship is non-paid, but college credit is available and stipends for food and local travel will be provided.

To apply, please send us your MySpace, Facebook (or equivalent) social network profile page, along with your resume and cover letter, so we can get a sense for what you’re about. Please tell us some of your favorite online music sites, as well as some of your favorite bands.
